How It All Started
In 1964 Mr. Mohan Singh initiated MIDEAST PIPELINE PRODUCTS as manufacutring unit to manufacture various items for the Oil & Gas pipeline sector as import substitution.
The initial products we were insulators and the end seals for road and rail crossings, these products were supplied to Indian Oil Corporation for the first two projects later pig cups & bushes , insulating joints, pipeline markers etc. were added to our product line.
Subsequently from 1968 onwards the pipeline construction division was started, initially for laying oil/gas collector lines in the oil fields of gujrat and later expanded for the execution of pipeline works in the different parts of the country extensively covering west,east,noth-east, north and south india.Now , not only were we in the construction of cross country pipelines and suspension bridges but were also carrying out river crossings by open cut and hydrostatic testing works for our own pipeline work as well as for the clients and other contractors as specialist agency.
What We Do?
BRIDGE DIVISION
This division handles Design,Construction & Erection of bridges in pre-stressed concrete, our very first experience in this field was in year 1984, Noe we are one of the most profficient in handling Bridges..
HOT WORKS
We have accuired considerable experience in repair and replacement of "in-use" petroleum pipelines. one of our flagship work was Hot Tapping of the running Mathura Jullundhar Pipeline of Indial Oil Corporation.
YARD COATING
We own a Yard Coating Plant which has a capacity of coating pipes 4" dia to 42" diameter and has a capacity of coating 15-20 pipes per hour of 14" diameter.
Trench Less/ No -Dig Works
- We are using the auger boring method of trenchless excavation construction for the pipeline crossings of the raods and railway lines on our pipeline projects.
International Tie-Ups
In 1997 we entered in to Tie-Ups which increased our capabilities. A strategic was entered in to with Bilfinger & berger, Bauaktiengesellshaft of germany and laney International U.S.A for horizontal Directional Drilling and wo9rks of length up to 1100 m and diameter were excuted.
Though construction using trenchless technology is fast gaining popularity in india, pipe and sewer rehablitation using no Dig techniques is a new concept and we are associated with some of the best firms worlswide in their speres to carry out CCTV survey and pipe & sewer rahabilitation in India.
